3. Voice Data and Processing
When you use Whisp's voice typing features:
- Your voice is processed in real-time to convert speech to text
- We do NOT store your voice recordings
- Voice data is processed locally on your device and through secure third-party APIs
- Only the resulting text and word count are tracked for rewards
- We use industry-standard encryption for all data in transit
We partner with trusted third-party providers (Deepgram, Groq) to process voice data. These providers are contractually obligated to maintain the confidentiality of your data.
4. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: With third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf (Stripe for payments, Deepgram/Groq for voice processing)
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or legal process
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
- With Your Consent: When you explicitly authorize us to share information

Our services are not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
