What Are AI Auto Edits?
AI Auto Edits is Whisp's intelligent post-processing feature that automatically cleans up your dictated text, making it more polished and professional without any extra effort from you.
How It Works
When you finish dictating, Whisp's AI analyzes your text and makes intelligent improvements:
- Removes filler words — "um", "uh", "like", "you know"
- Fixes grammar — Subject-verb agreement, tense consistency
- Improves punctuation — Adds commas, periods, and question marks
- Capitalizes properly — Names, places, sentence starts
- Formats numbers — "twenty five" becomes "25" when appropriate
Auto Edit Modes
Choose the level of editing that works for you:
- Light: Basic cleanup—filler words and obvious errors only
- Standard: Grammar, punctuation, and formatting improvements
- Professional: Full polish including style and clarity enhancements
- Off: Raw transcription with no modifications
Configuring Auto Edits
- Open Whisp Settings
- Navigate to the "AI" tab
- Select your preferred edit mode
- Optionally, customize specific behaviors
When to Use Different Modes
